Saturday Is Slow...
Haiz, haven't had time to update my blog after I chatted with Wan Yee yesterday. She was kinda mad and depressed that she didn't get a GOLD or SILVER but a BRONZE, because of a dumbass from GESS. What the F***! Gave her a look on the brighter side comment on her blog, hope she's feeling better.
Today was a real ditzy day. Tried to win Maroon 5's Songs About Jane repackaged album on Power 98 but to no avail. Then, tried to do my Biology work, and I took 5 hours!! Crazy, lucky my mom not at home or she'll skin me alive.
Gonna watch the last episode of Country Spirit on Channel U. Ciao.Labels: maroon 5

Floorball Day
Yoohoo!!! Get to play floorball as we had PE today. Was in Shuling's & Zheng Yi's group. Really embarrassing as I skidded across the floor when I tried to hit the ball. Some blood but I kept on playing, what's the use of sitting in the corner, crying over a stupid wound?? Really great game, and Mr. Cho joined our team!! Yay... once, when I hit the ball away, he was like running and then, *Crash, he bumped into me. Sometimes, he says "good", or "nice one", which is really encouraging as we were the losing team in the first part of the game, but, needless to say, we won in the end: 5-4, which is actually a last minute tacky thing.
During Chinese after recess, we had the presentation on the Dream Home thingy, the modern career ladies won by 2 votes over 2 groups. Never mind, what matters is that we know what we want in our lives. Chemistry was another phew thing, as I didn't really complete my homework, just anyhow tick the answers, and managed to get some of them correct.
Went home and did my chinese composition, tried to complete it, but to my dismay, I didn't. Should have done it in school, as least I could finish it in 2 periods, I spent 5 hours and still halfway done. Haven't asked Wan Yee about the canoeing finals yet, wonder how they are doing.

Thursday...
Plain sweet day and met Wan Yee & Serene before they left for the canoeing competition. Social Studies was a disaster as Miss Yeo gave some indecent exposure... EEeew... Then, during Chinese lesson, did this collage about our dream home. What a mess we've made, the malays students didn't recognize the classroom when they came in. After school, the physics lesson was as usual, nobody listened. Had the Australian Mathematics Competition, silly thing, so easy at first, then suck my blood later. Idiot!!! At most, get participation, I'm not cut out for maths solving.

CODE RED!!
Hmm..today was the first day of the canoeing competition, managed to wish Wan Yee good luck just in time when I reached school. And guess what? She got FIRST!!! Congrats!!! Then, had Geography test, not sure whether will do well, because I just threw everything I knew into the paper... E Math - was rather surprised that Miss Sharifah didn't join the canoeists, since she said she would yesterday.
Recess and there was this bazaar from the secondary 2s. Very crowded and noisy and the person I didn't want to see most kept appearing in front of me. Since there was no seats, I stood while my friends ate. Then there was this partly-empty bench, my friend actually asked me to sit there. But I declined, and this stupid pig-headed, dumbass guy from 4e3 moved out so that I don't sit next to him. Hell, like I wanna sit with a pig.
The day went on with a little change in my body - had a constant ache around my tummy.. Gastric? That's for me to know and for you to find out... CME quiz and it was pretty chicken feet lahz...still need timer one... Went home and start to organize my books so as to make revision an easier thing to do. Hope that I can concentrate and not let my sickening aunty disturb me with her Fei YuQing music, pleeaaassee lohz, I don't belong to that generation so no need to play Uncle Fei's music out loud. Even ear plugs are of no use. Somebody save me....

Boom!!!
Haiz, it's really retribution for 4e2 today since the school's DC decided to lock up our class, so as to make us line up faster for morning assembly. Afterwhich, Biology wasn't any much better. Mr. Cho asked us this question - what's the difference between continuous and non-continuous variation. Already, lots of people are standing either because they gave the wrong answer or out-of-point. When he asked register 19, Hei Wai stood up and repeated an answer. Then Mr. Cho flared up and threw his book at the broom, saying that he repeated and taught us but we didn't pay attention, when Hei Wai rebuked and talked back. Phew... I was scared stiff, I did not dare look at him.
Then english oral practice. Didn't say much lahz... Recess!! Did A Math homework and went down for a quick snack. When we came up, just ducked Van's Zaid's wide arms... much to Vanessa's delight. Hehe... It started to rain and everyone felt very drowsy. Managed to wake up a little when Mr. Phoa did his signature cha-cha moves when no-one responded to his talk. I'm really sorry to him, for we do not listen and pay attention in class despite his teaching. Hope that our class will learn to cooperate and listen to him in future.

Blue Monday...
Had physics practical today but had to share with Grace & Hei Wai because Wan Yee isn't here. =( Anyway, real boring because it's all about the light and screen thing, unlike last week's). Then, idiot Zuohan told me he deleted 3/4 of the songs I sent him. Somebody tell me what's wrong with this song playing now, Switchfoot's Meant to Live and Jet's Hold On. Nothing wrong right? Haiz, such nice songs and he doesn't know how to appreciate....
Then assembly was on Abortion, although I know I should be listening real hard, but I wasn't all grossed out as my friends when they saw those aborted babies. Because I know I'll never do that, I have my values, principles and morals, okay? On the way home, Rachel was all touchy-touchy, kept touching my neck and stuff.... Eee, I'm not interested. Haha...went home, and as usual, I concussed and fell asleep again while at my homework.

Surprise, surprise!!
Hmm..didn't know I'll be popping by here on a Saturday. Really wet start, isn't it? Instead of completing my homework and doing my revision, I was slacking away reading my storybook. Bad, right? Then, at 12 plus, went online and checked some mail. Gotta go, ciao.

Worse Friday Ever...
The following was written in a fit of anger and if I have offended anyone, don't take it to offence.
The stupid day started with a bloody PE lesson. Actually intended to play floorball but when ppl asked me over to play captain's ball, Ii no choice mahx, have to accept right..wait ppl say I stuck up or something..
Firstly, it started of with choosing of teams, and I have to say the teams are not well distributed. Secondly, the ball did not even land in my hands for the first 5 minutes. The only time I got it? When it fell out of the circle from which those people were forming. Worse still, nobody bothered to defend me. This person in my team was like choosing who to throw to, and there was this V-shaped formation formed around me, meaning, there was nobody blocking me. Still, nobody passed to me. Whatever lohz, I have sworn off Captain's Ball, unless the people playing inside today are not playing anymore. Should have gone to join Nicole when she asked for more recruits to play floorball.
Was a little black-faced after that, and was feeling a little better when Nicole talked to me a little, though she didn't know the disaster I faced earlier. The rest of the day went on smoother that I expected. Well, better than the period of time from 0800 - 0910h.

Thirst-day...
Haiz, today's starters - Social Studies test, wasn't a good one. Didn't think I'd do very well... Recess was a hasty affair too, as I realized that i studied the wrong chapters for the Bio test... Had Chinese, where we listened and watched this excerpt from The Dream of the Red Chambers. The one about liu lao lao. I guess the show was a little drowsy though, since everyone was in a trance mode.
The biology test was a disaster. Especially when I didn't study some of those topics. I gave up my integrity for a few minutes when I referred back to the book for the structure of the eye. Lunch time came and I saw someone I didn't really wish to see, but walked past him anyway. Afterwhich, I had a good chat with Izzulwan about Lord of the Rings (LOTR), Gollum and stuff like that... that guy ah, crazy about LOTR...
Disaster struck when physics lesson started. Nicole and I saw something like a wave moving along the windows. Was it a tides crashing? Global warming? No. It was our maroon-loving physics teacher. (No Offence). I have to say our class isn't that cooperative when it comes to physics lesson, although it's boring, we did not make an effort to pay much attention. Some talked their way through, others fell asleep, while one was reading Shopaholic Ties the Knot.
Went home straight away after seeing the same guy I don't wish to see again. How bad can the day go?

Cold, cold day...
Brr..been shivering the whole day since school started. Had a really boring start lahz, teachers nagging and stuff. Finally went for recess only to have this idiotic sec one boy cutting my queue. Couldn't control so I told him off and said he was an idiot. He definitely deserved it.
Later during Chinese, nearly dozed off when Mr. Tan asked me to do zao ju, or forming sentences. Watched the Imperfect Hero during CME, a really touching movie that moved me to tears. About this baby boy that nearly got burnt to death.. and how he stood up to reality and became happy for who he is. The moral of the story - don't hate, for hating brings misery. And always be contented with yourself.Labels: movies

Racial Harmony Day Celebration!!!
Phew, the day came at last. Wore this striped blouse with a denim-lookalike skirt. Btw, the racial harmony "show" was really boring, getting worse over the years, i'd say. The whole class was decked out costumes and suits. Woah, but we forgot to take a class photo, despite the alarming numbers of flashing digi-cams, and not to mention, an extra video-cam.
The day went on very well with lots of shooting and of course, the anti-climax was the social studies test nearing the end of the day. Sickening. Stayed back after school for a while for photo-taking session. My friend, Vanessa, must be having such a greeaat time, if you know what I mean.

Pre- Racial harmony celebration
Started my day waiting for my class at the parade square. A difficult move as everyone's dilly-dallying. Then had Physics Practical with the glass block. Nearly laughed my head off when Guan Hui said he "waited for 4 years" to see Grace in a two-piece. (no offence, i don't mean to be mean). Had the dreaded Chemistry test, think i'll do badly, i forgot all the details!!
It was Mean time during A Math when i accidentally "stabbed" Nicole with my 0.38mm pen. It started to swell!! Sorry!! Went home after E Math remedial, read a bit of storybook then went off to revise Social Studies - a Sickening Subject. Watched the 70's Show, about needy Fez...haha...
Going to share a few interesting and meaning stuff i found from Webster's Dictionary.
- si jeunesse savait, si vieillesse pouvait (FR) - if youth but knew, if age but could.
- vera incessu patuit dea (Latin) - the true goddess was revealed by her gait
[gait - walking/running manner]

TGIF?
Finally, it's friday!! Can't wait for the weekend!! Had PE early this morning - played floorball, one of my favourite games since Primary School - Min Xin. Was the goal-keeper and I think I must have done a bad job since my team lost 0-2, to Suhardi's group. Was in Ahmad's group, lucky he chose me, right? Haha... but was rather happy that I received Joseph's praise of "good block", but I think I slackened a bit after that...hehe..thanks Joseph, didn't get the chance to thank you earlier today.
Revised Chinese's spelling and Chemistry, only to find out the Chemistry test is postponed due to "sicklings" in our class. Went to bedok library after school, hunted down for books. Went home, and met my aunt at the bus interchange. It's the lunar month end, which means more good food at home, but that also meant I pigged out lahz... ('-')'''
Hope the weekend will be good, just that it;'s full of A Math homework. Till next time.

King Arthur opens today...
Today started with a rainy day, was raining so heavily I got all wet even under the umbrella. Had yet another drowsy SS lesson, due to the beautiful soothing environment... the day went very plainly and boringly...
At Biology, Mr Cho asked "Why do you keep smiling?", like it's a crime... We had Physics extra lesson and did practical with resistors, voltmeters and ammeters, 3 very new equipment we've never played or seen before. Went home after speaking in "royal english" with good friend Izzulwan.
Watched The 70's Show, very hilarious, man. About Eric being Mr. Nude..haha... Breaking for dinner now, till next time.

Boring?
Hmm..nothing much to blog today. Had a rather ordinary day. Started my day catching up with old buddy - Serene, when I met her at the school gate. Then, was sort of shocked to see the classrooms empty before 0725h!! Other days, the rooms were packed!!
Had AM test after recess... I practised integration but the paper had more differentiation..haiz... Then, during Chinese lesson, Mr. Tan played us a song sang by Theresa Tang, I guess he was rather embarrassed as he kept looking out for passers-by. Then he wrote a "Theresa Teng Concert" on the board. Afterwhich, we heard a Hokkien song - "Xio Ba Chang", of which many of us do not understand.
Went home and tried to finish up my building pile of homework. King Arthur's open tomorrow, but I don't think I'll catch it on its opening day...maybe Friday or next week.

Blues...
Haiz, racial harmony day is coming, which means I'll have to find a costume... But, I've already planned what I want to wear - formal wear. Simple yet casual, instead of spending money buying costumes or borrowing them from classmates - it's still more comfy wearing your own clothes, agree?
Anyway, today was rather pissed off cos I was not allowed "to show my teeth". Crazy. The day was so sleepy - I almost fell asleep when ppl started to pass notes around. Became even drowsier after recess when I took my medicine. Then Suting, Joy & Jia Jin "paid their debts" for Wan Yee's b'day present. Actually, I was glad they remembered except for 2 ppl, cos the amount they owed added up to almost 15 bucks, and I was planning to write off the debt until Jia Jin remembered!! Hmm..now I know G-Guides are responsible ppl..hehe..
Assembly was a rather hilarious one as AV club showed us some of their video clips whereby they spoofed some of the movies like Spider-man and The Matrix (copyright, anybody??). Went home and took a long nap, and homework's piling up - HELP!! - when can I be free??

Meaningful Lyrics...
How come... We don't even talk no more and you don't even call no more. We don't barely keep in touch at all and I don't even feel the same love when we hug no more. And I heard it through the grapevine we're even beefin' now. After all the years we been down.. aint no way no how. This bullshit cant be true. We family.. aint a damn thing changed.. unless its you!
That's D12's How Come and I think it's a Very common sight among ppl in secondary schools, especially after crushes and relationships - friendship and bgr. Don't you think it's so true?
PS. Another good song - Dashboard Confessional's Vindicated.
Hope, dangles on a string. Like slow spinning redemption. Winding in and winding out. The shine of it has caught my eye. And roped me in so mesmorizing, so hypnotizing. I am captivated. I am...
Vindicated. I am selfish, I am wrong. I am right, I swear I'm right. Swear I knew it all along , and I am flawed, but I am cleaning up so well. I am seeing in me now, the things you swore you saw yourself.
Enjoy!!Labels: lyrics

Spider-man 2 fulfills my day...
Oops. In case ppl didnt know, this blog takes place during weekdays only, since i'm not a very interesting person thus my weekends would be boring. Anyway, had a rather pleasant day today. Gave Miss Sharifah my MC for yesterday's absence at the cross country - heard that it was a boring affair though - aren't I glad that i gave it a miss??
Had lunch then I went to GV Tampines Mall to watch Spider-man 2. A long-awaited sequel to 2002's Spider-man, and i sure have waited long enough - 2 weeks. Watched with ______. Surely it was worth my $6.50, most of my friends said it was good. And... I love the soundtrack!! Dashboard Confessional, Train, Yellowcard, Maroon 5, Switchfoot... Wow!! I can't believe that most of my favourite rock bands are featured in it!! Stayed for as long as I could after the show ended, but everyone had left and I couldn't wait much longer, therefore I could not see if there was any coda after the credits. Hope those who're reading this blog will catch the movie too.Labels: maroon 5, movies

Thanks Power 98!!
Nearly forgot about this special and unique thing. Last night at around 2300h, I received a call from Soo of Power 98 and was told I had won Yellowcard's Ocean Avenue!! Woohoo!! I went on air and went by the another christian name since my given name was a little hard to pronounce..I screamed and shrieked in my house, my mom ran all the way up to reprimand me for my screamings near midnight!! Nevertheless, it's definitely another unforgettable experience.

Mean Girls!!!
Had PE today - played captain ball, a really fun game it is..helps me to grow taller..hehe...then we had an english discussion on enthunasia - mercy killing - whether we're for or against it.
Igor's had closed down!! There goes our prom night-cum-dinner. returned all 50 bucks back to classmates. Afterwhich, me, stefanie, vanessa, xiang yun, eileen and puay ling went to Bugis Junction's Shaw Bugis to watch Mean Girls!! Stars Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams & Johnathan Bennet. A really nice show, with the right ppl to play the roles. We went to Yoshinoya for the Student Deal, but some drama thingy happened and everything was put to a standstill. Being a glutton, i stayed there and finished my meal while the others ran, chased and comforted ppl. We went to take photos around Bugis Junction, I had to admit I don't look that fantastic in photos. What an unforgettable day.Labels: movies

Old Flame...
And it's been awhile, since I could hold my head up high. And it's been awhile, since I first saw you. And it's been awhile, since I could stand on my own two feet again. And it's been awhile, since I could call you.
That's was Staind's It's Been Awhile, also featured in The Butterfly Effect trailer. Saw someone who I knew long ago, a completely changed person now, it seems. Used to be the guy that I held an Olympics torch for, and I think I had one held for me by him too. Now, he's tall, dark but not that handsome - literally. We never talk now, never smile, never acknowledge. After two years plus, I've gotten used to it and have learnt to put it past me. But I'm sure I'll never forget the guy who shed a tear for me.Labels: lyrics, thoughts
