Enlightenment
The days are getting shorter and shorter... With more things to do, yet time is disappearing just like quicksand. I have not started revising for promos and my homework's piling up like never before!!
I actually screwed up my physics test because I messed up my formulas!! And that was when I studied for it!! Quite happy I managed to get a Silver for my NAPFA, it wasn't easy, mind you. I had to risk life-and-death to get my standing broad jump well and above the bloody target!!
Physics was getting a little better, with the relief teacher teaching better than Mr Liew. I actually understood those Kirchhoff's Laws for the first time. Someone start a petition or something!!
Well, somehow I feel that I am enveloping myself away from my friends. Not contacting them and not feeling the urge to do so at times... what an idiot I am. And there's this stupid matter that's bugging me lately and I really hope it'll get away, real fast.
Right now, I must push this negative element away from me and focus my strengths and energy on my studies. That's way more important than that bloody matter.
Right now, I just wish to see as many of my friends at Damai Sec for Teachers' Day celebration!! Can't hardly wait!!Labels: school

What A Week !
Hmmm... I haven't blogged for a week. What a record. Had a real busy and maybe fun week, and here goes:
Went to watch Wedding Crashers on Monday and I must say it was really good movie!! I give it 4 out of 5 stars!!! Man, it was so hilarious and though the theatre I was in wasn't that crowded, laughters were still aplenty!! Especially when Vince Vaugh was at the dinner table... gosh!! His character must be the most tormented one in the film. Haha, it was worth every buck of my seven dollars.
Spent the rest of my week mugging for my econs test - I want to pass at least ONE test! Also, there was this photography 'Games Day' and we actually spent like half an hour finding a switch!!
Promos are drawing nearer and I haven't started anything!! While people have already begun mugging, I'm still dilly-dallying and taking my own bloody sweet time.... Somebody!! Give me a sign!! I'm gonna try to do something everyday or else I will regret!!

Drama Night 2005
Yesterday was the last day that Yi-Tien will be spending in TPJC. She's switching schools and it's a real pity. Firstly, I don't think I got to know her very well (and I really hope to do so!) and our class will be short of one - again. Nevertheless, I wish her all the best and 05S24 will always have 22 fun-loving people!!
Our class had those final-playing matches with the school team and we kind of got thrashed like crazy!! I became the timer and it wasn't an easy job at all - you need like 3 pairs of eyes and two pairs of ears and a loud voice. At the beginning, I relied on the guys for help but when they started to read out the time, they were lagging. Yin Chieh and I laughed our heads off at the "recorder" [kan na ge hei de... ta ma de, gen ni jiang ji ci, kan na ge hei de!] Meanwhile, there were some fabulous shots by my classmates and I was wondering why the school team didn't perform as well during the semi-finals... Stayed back to do some work then went for dinner at Pasta Mania with Yin Chieh and Ming Qian.
Went back TPJC to attend Drama Night and I must say it was quite a good performance! They did plays like Boeing Boeing and 8 Femmes, I must say it was a good attempt and the characters are all so funny, especially in the first play. Must have taken lots of courage to portray such a cheena character. Yin Chieh nearly went crazy when Orange Bag (OB) arrived fashionably late and our eardrums nearly popped with her screaming when OB stretched left and right and looked behind. (-_-)'''
So tired yesterday that I didn't bother to blog at all. Anyway, I don't think I will blog that often anymore. I know I have said this many times but I think and hope that this time is for real. As most would know, promos are just round the corner (and it's not that a small round, mind you!), with my mom's nagging and my mountains of homework, I think I have to tie myself next to my books and not log on to the internet so often, unless school calls for it.
With this, I hope whoever's reading this will be happy and maybe we can meet on Teacher's Day Eve or the day of celebration!!Labels: school

Yellow-Green Penguin ?
Hmm, had a very relaxing National Day yesterday. Only did one reading log and some GP stuff.
Met up with about half of our class today at Katong Shopping Centre. Had lunch then went for our karaoke session. Those present include Vernon, Eugene, Kenny, Jason, Li En, Louis, Meng Wee, Ghim Liang, Kian Hong, Kelvin, Yi Tien, Yin Chieh and me. The room was really quite small but the price was quite cheap, only about $3 per person.
The guys were really the better singers, belting out tune after tune, even shouting and giving their very high pitch voices and even those bass type. Someone please enrol them in songfest next year.

Red and White
Frankly, I didn't have a good day yesterday. Don't want to elaborate more but there were the two national colours involved. It's no good, but I'm better.
Today I had photography duty and we went to the Audi. Barely 10 minutes into the show and the principal sat next to me. To be frank, I've never liked any of my principals since I got into secondary school. MXPS's still the best!
Yeah, we took photos, sang along and laughed along with the JC2s, but I heard they were having a HIGH time over at the hall. Went for civics class and made our class kite. In fact, we emphasized on the SINGapore part because our class's boys were like opening a mini-KTV, singing a medley of songs.
Went over TM for lunch then the few of us hesitated over on which movie to watch. In the end, we went all the way to Shaw Towers and in the end, the 6 of us split into 4+2. It was left with Yin Chieh, Yi Tien, Jason and I watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I'll give it 3/5 stars, it's quite nice and the moral of the story - don't be a brat. The songs are very funny and the ending was quite sweet. Went home after that and took a short rest.
Having 2 days' break and hopefully, I can make full use of it. Enjoy!!Labels: movies

Anti-Negativity
Hmmm... Another week is coming to an end and it seems that I have not done anything at all.
Yesterday's SPA was one of the most hiong ones. We were punished for not attending our PE on Tuesday. The 7 of us were made to run almost 10 rounds in Lane 8 ( the supposedly biggest lane on the track). Actually, it was quite okay, can lose weight and keep fit, and it was rather relaxing cos we saw the people chionging for their 2.4km run. The "run until I say stop" was running for 2 periods and surprisingly, I didn't feel any pain anywhere today. Usually everywhere would be aching.
Saw our class photo today and it was rather odd. The top row had an empty patch on the left while the right is kind of crowded. Hopefully, next year can take better shots.
Meanwhile, photography seems to be getting in the way of many things. This teacher, don't know his name, actually said that this female teacher (in the club) actually doesn't want the club to be too good so that her workload doesn't increase. What kind of mentality is this? How can one choose to see their own club remain in the dumps? You might as well rename it as Shit Club. And the way they're forcing people to do their duty and showing some sort of favouritism within the club. The whole thing just sucks. My interest for photography nearly depleted till zilch on Wednesday, but I will not let such negative forces get in my way... get lost!
National Day coming, and so is the long holiday. So much stuff to do, and there's the gathering with my friends but nothing's confirmed. Haiz, better pray hard, cos I haven't seen them for a long time!!Labels: school

Oligopolistic becomes Monopoly!!
So pissed off with Photography today.
First they talked long and short about taking staff photos on National Day Eve. Fine, I can accept that. Then they said we must do everything beforehand and not let the staff wait too long. Just snap and go for them. If that's all the fuss, why not hire a professional photographer? Maybe they say we should offer service to the school, well, I'm not that much of a servant, am I? Third, they spend like half an hour talking cock in the classroom, wasting my precious time. Then, when Yin Chieh and I asked to be excused for the basketball finals, they gave us some sarcastic remarks and continued to talk cock. What the hell! I had it up to a wee bit over my maximum toleration, and was extremely tempted to leave straight away. Luckily I didn't miss much of the match, or else you could be sure I would do something terrible.
Worse still, I actually said the f-word, which I haven't been doing so for like 3 months. Thanks to them, yeah?
Basketball finals was a blast. We won by 8 points. I don't really know who's the MVP or whatever, but I know the guys did a great job! Oligopolistic RULES!!! Somehow, Yin Chieh and I became the Vernon Fan Club, which doesn't exist because we're not fans of Vernon, duh! Went back with Van and of cos, she was sort of stuck at the bus stop with someone. She seems rather affected though, take care and have courage!! Haha...
Very tired now, and I am bugged by many other trivial yet bothering things... Arggh, get off my back!!!Labels: school

Coincidence
You know there are times when you misunderstand or wrong somebody, only to realize that he or she wasn't at fault at all?
Yet, when you least want it, fate throws you two people at the most inappropriate times and even very coincidental as some may say.
At that point of time, you must be thinking "What rotten luck I have".
But as time goes by, you will thank your lucky stars for pushing you two people together, because you have found a way to clear that previous misunderstanding, or have somehow got pass it.
You may even get to know that person better, or even admire his or her qualities.
I'm thankful I had that one experience and hope that I will have many to come by.Labels: friends

Haircut
Hmm... been having a lot this past few days, quite busy and caught up to my eyeballs with my never-ending homework. Then, I went to cut my fringe yesterday, it was rather on impulse because I couldn't stand my hair blowing right into my contacts and cause tears to flow down like something bad had happened.
Went to watch Fantastic Four today before the movie ends its run. Give it 3/5 stars, and the horror came before the show. I took the lift up to the 4th storey and ta-daa~! Mr Liew was going into the lift while I came out. Eeewww.
This few days, I predict, will be quite free compared to last week, but it won't be for long. So I'm gonna rest for some time while I can. =)
